Quality & regulatory
Our role as a medical-device distributor
We act as a distributor under Regulation (EU) 2017/745 on medical devices (MDR). Our obligations under Article 14 shape how we work every day.
- Before a device reaches the hospital we verify its CE marking, EU declaration of conformity, labelling, instructions for use and UDI.
- We store and transport devices under the conditions specified by the manufacturer.
- We keep a register of complaints, non-conforming products, recalls and withdrawals and forward complaints to the manufacturer.
- We cooperate with manufacturers and the competent authority on field safety corrective actions and trace every implant to the hospital that received it.
